At Camera CHI, we believe in the transformative power of storytelling and the critical role diversity plays in enriching the film and television industry. Our mission is to unlock the potential of young creatives and working adults in Chicago's underserved communities, empowering them to shape the future of media with their unique voices and perspectives. By fostering an inclusive learning environment, we aim to cultivate a new generation of filmmakers and artists who reflect the world's rich tapestry of experiences.
With over 15 years of experience in Hollywood, working on acclaimed projects like 'Biggest Loser,' 'Real Husbands of Hollywood,' 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' and 'The Amazing Race'—for which I was honored with a Primetime Emmy nomination in 2022—I bring firsthand knowledge of the industry's demands and opportunities. This experience underpins our commitment to excellence and innovation in education and mentorship.
Our commitment lies in forging alliances with local school districts and colleges to build comprehensive curricula that provide prospective students with transferable skills, as well as preparing mentees with hands on training in (cinematography, lighting, editing, online mixing, etc.), ensuring our learners are well-equipped for a future in the film and television industry.
